There is a new Jay-Z song out. D’Angelo is on it too. And it’s 9 minutes long.
The song is question, “I Want You Forever”, is on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie The Book of Clarence. The song is produced by the director of the movie, Jeymes Samuel, and Jay-Z is also one of the producers of the film.
All that being said, the song isn’t bad (Especially if you are a fan of D’Angelo’s later career stuff) but Jay-Z’s part on the song was probably unnecessary, unless the point was to make idiots like myself take notice and listen the song. The song shouldn’t be 9 minutes either.
On the bright side, I am curious about The Book of Clarence (Just off the trailer alone).
