- Tank released his 5th album This Is How I Feel last week and… that’s all I got. Okay, I also know that Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, & T.I. are on the album but that’s about it. This Is How I Feel lands at #9 and sells 33,000 units.
- Ab-Soul only sold around 5,000 copies of his album Control System and grabs the #86 spot. Actually that sales number doesn’t tell the whole story. For one, I think the album dropped on Saturday so it’s only had 3 days to sell. Also, selling 5,000 independently in the first week is right around what his Black Hippy brethren also pushed on their albums (Just as much as Kendrick Lamar & Jay Rock; More than Schoolboy Q). So with all that said, 5,300 copies sold is pretty good for Ab-Soul. The Control System album review is still coming.
- A Pitbull compilation showed up this week filled with previous released material (Put together by his former label) and it sold 3,700 units.
- Nicki Minaj‘s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is in it’s 6th week and has yet to “officially” cross the 500,000 mark. Just saying…
