Jay-Z – The Blueprint 3 [Official Tracklist]

bp3cover

Okay, the official tracklist for Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 is here and it’s sorta different from the one we posted up earlier this month. It looks like Nas doesn’t appear on “Empire State Of Mind” (Damn) and is replaced by Alicia Keys. Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz, and Pharrell are also added to the party on other tracks. But one person I am really glad to see added to The Blueprint 3 is J. Cole. It only seems right since he is the first artist signed to Roc Nation (Good move Hov). Also, you noticed how we (Courtesy of V-G) just posted a review of J. Cole’s The Warm Up and then this happens? I wish I can say we planned that out. Check out the tracklist (Is this the back cover art?) and tell us what you think. Update: Added the producer credits

2. Thank You (Produced By Kanye West & No I.D.)

  1. uhhh… Jay took a big L without Nas… Damn, but my boy J.Cole on there so I’m ready. I’m curious as to what Jeezy’s gonna bring to the table. I woulda shitted myself if J.Cole had got on that Drake track!

    1. Thats not a L, I’m sure he woulda wanted too but at this point that beat is old man. Im hoping for it to be a bonus, if it was actually recorded then they gotta put that out somehow. As for the Nas thing, can’t get too gassed over a fake tracklist but the title sure did imply it. I’m still holding out hope that its gonna be a hardcore hip hop track. Not counting Pharrell and Swizzy, theres too many guests tho, except for J. Cole cuz hes on the Nation. Sept 11 on the way…

      1. You kidding me? Swagga Like Us 2 would’ve been insane. I bet you wouldn’t have said that the beat was overplayed if it just came out and you heard it for like the first time. Jigga took a huge L when he took Nas off “Empire State Of Mind,” considering Nas had, well you know. Idk, I think Jay just worked with Jeezy because Kanye did it (Well, besides that remix, but yeah.)

        1. Actually, Jay-Z basically signed Jeezy to Def Jam and did tracks with him before Kanye. Matter of fact, Jeezy said he did more songs with Jay than Biggie did.

          1. Co-sign, Put On was hot but let’s not forget how well, crazy, Go Crazy was. @Chew i think swagga 2 deserved to be a bonus, (not that only on itunes shit either) or if it was on the album proper i wouldnt have been mad either, I’m just telling you why he didnt. Same goes for Jockin, Bk Go hard, and History (although that really shouldve been on there). What the fuck happened to that song with MC Lyte though? It’s not an album track, really shouldve been on Notorious but still. If y’all have a version without those annoying LA leakers can you post it?

  2. i was lookin forward to this cd the most this yr… now tht j. cole is on there im lookin forward this even more….

  3. This tracklisting isn’t as good as before. Nas…I’d complain about it, but everyone else above already has.

The problem is it’s got too many features on it now. It already had a lot and now it’s got more. Jeezy will be straight, Swizz, we’ll see, Pharrell could be good or bad…Alicia Keys on Empire State of Mind sounds hot tho. J.Cole on the album is a good look, Drake’s on it, Kid Cudi’s STILL on it.

We Made History was dropped from the album!

  4. Man that sucks Nas isn’t on that joint. Jay-Z is fucking up! Where is the DP 3????? I want to hear the whole thing for once.

  5. Oh yeah, anybody remember the really early tracklist?

    1. “Wake Up New York (Intro)” (Usually, Jay’s intros are reflective)
    2. “Most Kings” (Cool)
3.“Hades (Lucifer part two)” (Lucifer was insanely dope, so I wanted to see this one)
    4. “Eternal Jewels” (feat. and prod. by Jay Electronica) (Jay Electronica is a really cool producer with his production and decent mceeing work, so this will be another one I wanted)
    5. “Blueprint 3″ (Eh, Blueprint 2 (the track) was ok, and Blueprint (Momma Loves Me) was pretty good, so unknown)
    6. “Lucy” (feat. Chris Martin) (Chris Martin did Beach Chair, so this one was another one I would’ve wanted to see. Maybe it’s another version of Song Cry?)
    7. “The Audacity of Dope” (Uh huh)
    8. “S-L-U Part Two” (feat. Nas, Andre 3000, and Young Jeezy) (Swagga Like US when it came out was dope, from these 4 mcees, it’ll be also dope)
    9. “Election Night (We Believe in Obama)” (Probably this was exempted eventually because of the My President Is Black remix and also History)
    10. “Just Memories” (Sounds cool.)
    11. “Apostate” (feat. and prod. by Eminem) (Renegade and Moment Of Clarity. What else to say)
    12. “Oasis” (A title I would’ve never expected from Jay. He did have Beach Chair, so who knows)
    13. “My Brothers Keeper” (feat. Scarface) (Scarface + Jay = two legends. That’s cool)
    14. “Brooklyn Lost”
    15. “Weeds and Concrete” (All of these three have creative titles, but who knows)
    16. “Without Rain…”
