Sometimes the beats Curren$y uses catches me off guard but turn out to be great choices. An example? When he rapped over Ghetto Mafia’s “In Decatur” on his Smokee Robinson mixtape. Add “GT500” to that list. Curren$y & Trademark Da Skydiver go in over loop of Prodigy’s “Trials Of Love” (A song I’ve talked about in the past). And as soon as I heard that I stopped the song and started downloading.
For those really paying attention, Prodigy’s “Trials Of Love” & Outkast’s “Wailin'” both sample Lou Bond’s “To The Establishment” (I learned that from P-Body).
