Not to sound like a jackass, but I usually don’t get emotional when watching movies. So imagine my surprise when I got a little dust in my eye while watching Beasts Of The Southern Wild. Not only that but it blend genres while opening up the potential of what films with Black leads can be. I also been saying that either Quvenzhané Wallis or Dwight Henry will get an Oscar nomination for their performances (Both first time actors). We’ll see.
