David Fincher is one of my favorite directors and I ain’t even know it. Back in 2011 when The Social Network came out, I checked the credits, searched the name of the director and did a background check of his work. Fight Club, Se7en, The Game, and Panic Room are some of my favorite movies and while I am waiting for him to direct, The Girl Who Played With Fire, like he did with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I’ll settle for his adaptation of another best-selling novel. Gillian Flynn’s 2012 novel, Gone Girl, is getting made for the big screen. She will also serve as the screen writer of Ben Affleck starring film. Affleck plays Nick Dunne, the number one suspect in the disappearance and possible murder of his wife; Also starring are Neil Patrick Harris, Casey Wilson, and Tyler Perry making an interesting cast.
