The Top 5 Things Wrong with ‘Justice League’

3. Plot
Justice League plot is simple as they come that it’s text book. A deadly force in Steppenwolf returns to earth in search of powerful relics threatening an apocalypse on earth the justice league is formed to stop Steppenwolf before it’s too late. With such a simplistic plot one would think executing it from script to screen would be effortless unfortunately that’s not the deal here. I feel Justice League would have benefited from multiple story lines and character development.

For the first time we get The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman appearing on screen together the result is one-dimensional characters with one sentence back stories and none of their characters being arched throughout the film. Instead by the end of the film your left with unanswered questions like the significance of the Mother Boxes, the need to resurrect Superman and Wonder Woman’s abilities as a demigod. Usually bad screenwriting results in plot holes and unlayered characters but these things where in the shooting script and was shot but left on the cutting room floor.
