I was just thinking that I would love to see Kiersey Clemons around Black people again. I feel like I haven’t seen the actress on screen with a diverse cast since Dope. According to the synopsis of J.D. Dillard‘s Sweetheart, the streak continues. Clemons plays a young woman trapped on a desert island by herself or at least she thinks until night falls and nature comes alive. Sweetheart will premiering at the end of this month at the Sundance Film Festival and will be awaiting an official release date.
