To be real, I kinda forgot that DJ Khaled and Drake dropped two songs back in July. Tonight I’m reminded of that as Khaled releases a music video for one of those tracks, “POPSTAR”. The twist is that the visuals star none other than Justin Bieber (Although Drake & DJ Khaled make appearances).
The premise of the video is that DJ Khaled is bugging Drake to do a music video for “POPSTAR” but Drizzy can’t do it due to currently being in album mode and on pandemic caused travel restrictions. So one Canadian pop star calls in a favor from another Canadian pop star, and we now have Justin Bieber playing Drake in a stereotypical music video suited for your standard materialistic rapper. And it kinda works. Directed by Director X.
