As usual, it feels like I missed out on a lot of music from last year, including the Bun B & Statik Selektah album, TrillStatik 2. Unfortunately, that means I also missed out on the song “Acetone” featuring Boldy James. The song features top-tier Statik Selektah production led by a piano melody that brings everyone together. Uncle Bun delivers his usual consistent performance, while Boldy James proves why I am an idiot for only becoming a fan around the time of The Versace Tape dropped. Despite my tardiness, this song is definitely worth a listen and is worthy of being named Song of the Week. Check it out below.
