Song of the Week: B.G. feat. Mac – “Niggas N Trouble”

This was released off the hood critically acclaim underground CD Chopper City from B.G in 1996 (at age 15 going on 16 at the time of the release). This song right here was pure dope, and Mac “The Camoflauge Assassin” aka former No Limit soldier was spitting out that lyrical heat. This is when the South was at its best with the lyrical and creative side. Mannie Fresh is once again on the boards behind this track. B.G. spitting that raw shit, and I miss this version of B.G. a whole lot. If you want to hear B.G. really spit heat pick up UNLV’s 1996 Uptown 4 Life, B.G. is really rapping hard. Also pick up any Cash Money album featuring B.G. from 1994 to 1999. That’s when he was at his best as a youngsta. I still like him now, but he just don’t have that same spit game like he did back in the 90’s when New Orleans streets was really playing the game raw. Check it out, this is one of my favorite B.G. songs.
