Song of the Week: 2Pac – “Out On Bail”

Hey world? Its your boi P-Body coming thru once again. I been out for a minute but im back in the flesh!!! Anyways here’s a joint from the legendary late Tupac Shakur. This song, “Out On Bail” was suppose to be on the 1994 gold selling album Thug Life: Volume 1 but when it was time for Interscope to release the album, they decided to take this song off as well as some more tracks, which is why there is only 10 songs on that CD. Let’s fast forward to 2004, and Eminem calls up Afeni to ask her about doing some production on the Loyal To The Game album. What a mistake! I mean it wasn’t the worse thing, but I didn’t like it. I wanted my money back from buying that shit. Em also redid the hard to find song off the Above The Rim soundtrack Loyal To The Game which it featured Treach and Riddler. I had that song on the cassette tape version of Above The Rim, it also had “Pain”, and another bonus cut from a dude with Death Row at the time name Lord G “Mi Monie Rite”. Okay so back to this song, Em remixed it, and it wasn’t that bad but I just didn’t feel it. I don’t like how Em chopped up some verses and even slowed down the vocals. I got alot of the original songs, so I know how they suppose to sound. Here’s the original version right here folks, some of ya’ll probably never heard this before but this is for the Pac fans out there. He also performed this at the 1994 Source Awards too. You can see it on YouTube, and also buy the Source Awards 1994-1999 DVD compliation. Rest in peace 2Pac, and I wish people would leave your music alone and at least release your music in its original form. Peace!
