Trey Songz returns to the charts an achieved his biggest debut ever with Passion, Pain & Pleasure. He just missed getting his first #1 album too by less than 2,000 units (Linkin Park’s new album Thousand Suns just beat it out. Did you know DJ LP & H20 think Linkin Park is the best band ever?). I actually thought Trey should have let Ready burn a little more before releasing Passion, Pain & Pleasure, I guess I was wrong.
Bilal released his third album, Airtight’s Revenge (His first since 2006). I haven’t had a chance to listen but I honestly thought he would at least crack the Top 100. I’ll still check it out though…
One of my favorite albums of the year is ironically Black Milk‘s Album Of The Year. Seeing that Milk’s last album didn’t crack the Top 200, Album Of The Year landing at the #140 spot can be looked at as a win. [Read SBK’s review for Album Of The Year]
Update: Damn, I forgot to include the figures for Rah Digga‘s album Classic. What’s worse is that I reviewed it. Sadly, it only sold 795 copies. Yea. [Read B-Easy’s review for Classic]
