Killer Mike
By the time Killer Mike started, we were in the front row. The majority of his set came off the 2012 album R.A.P. Music. Although Killer Mike didn’t have the biggest crowd, he definitely had some of the most energy we’ve seen at the festival. He ripped through El-P’s extraterrestrial beats without falling off pace once. The highlight of his set was the performance of “Reagan”. He gave an intro and background of why he recorded the song. He also had a person dressed up in a Reagan mask make an entrance. The funny thing about it was by how mad the security guards got when he would say “Fuck Raegan”. My faves from his set were “Don’t Die” & “Ric Flair”.
