After years of setbacks, K. Michelle finally drops her debut album Rebellious Soul. And she would have gotten to the #1 spot if it wasn’t for country singer Luke Bryan crushing shit and going Gold in one week. But #2 for K. Michelle is good. The positive is that she is probably the first reality star to parlay that into a viable solo music career (If we’re counting groups from reality shows, you gotta include Danity Kane, Day26, and even O-Town). The negative is that K. Michelle’s success will bring of lot of musically untalented reality stars out of the woodwork while I prefer reality stars to be on reality shows and occasionally appear in the Certified Banger section. Speaking of reality stars, Aubrey O’Day also released an album today (It debuted at #131).
