The Numbers Game: Wale Is #1. Born Sinner Outsells Yeezus.

Wale gets his 1st #1 album this week with his 3rd effort The Gifted. It’s all about timing because if J. Cole would have kept the original release date for Born Sinner, this wouldn’t be happening. For those that care, Wale sold around the same amount with his last album Ambition. Still, congrats to Wale on the having the #1 album in country. Check out our review for The Gifted here.

Speaking of Born Sinner, it may have lost the #1 spot by 30k units last week, but it outsold Kanye West‘s Yeezus by 20k this week.

Also this week, Lil’ Wayne‘s I Am Not A Human Being II finally crossed the 500,000 mark. Gold.
