The Numbers Game: Lil’ Wayne Debuts At #2

Weezy-Numbers

The main thing that happened this week in terms of sales, is that we get to see how Lil’ Wayne‘s I Am Not A Human Being II did in terms of sales. Well, it depends on how you look at it. The album sold 217,000 copes in it’s first week and grabbed the #2 spot (Justin Timberlake‘s The 20/20 Experience is still #1). In 2010 Weezy’s first I Am Not A Human Being sold 110,000 units while he was in jail so he definitely did better this time around. But then again, all those unit where digital only. It’s definitely not Tha Carter III or Tha Carter IV numbers.

If you mess with nappyafro you know that we gave you pretty good coverage of Lil’ Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being II:

In other news, JT’s The 20/20 Experience easily goes Platinum & Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ The Heist goes Gold.
